Bible. Run. Workout.
Every day.
Hybrid Father is the daily app that keeps you faithful in the Word and strong in body. Three things, checked off every day, with a brotherhood of men doing the same.
Nothing is charged until January 1. Cancel anytime before then and you pay nothing. The first 50 men lock in $7/month for life.
No card needed to start. Founding members lock in $7/month for life.
Lead yourself first.
You can't lead your family from an empty tank. Every morning the app hands you today's plan. You do the work, check it off, and the men beside you see it. Sundays are for rest: just the reading.
Bible
Today's passage, set for you. Read through the Bible in a year, one day's reading at a time.
Run / Walk
A distance or time for the day. Run it, walk it, push a stroller through it. Showing up is what counts.
Workout
20 minutes a day. No weights needed to start: your bodyweight in the garage or a hotel room is plenty. Once you start seeing the change, you'll want to add weights.
Fifteen seconds to check in. A brotherhood that notices.
- Open today's planYour reading, your run and your workout are waiting when you wake up.
- Check off all threeThat's a full day. Full days build your streak.
- Share one sentenceAnswer the day's question. The brotherhood reads it and says amen.
- Climb the leaderboardRanked by faithfulness, not fitness. The man running two miles and the man running ten are equal if they both show up.
Gear you can't buy. Only earn.
Hit a streak and Hybrid Father mails you gear that isn't for sale anywhere. When a man sees the 90-day hat, he knows what it took.
Life happens. You get one grace day a month that keeps your streak alive. Physical rewards are for paying members.
Built by a dad who needed it.
- SEC baseball, Kentucky
- Husband to Lauren
- Father of four
- 11+ years building for tech
I'm Thomas Bernal. For more than 11 years I've built products and communities for technology professionals. Hybrid Father is the first thing I've built for me.
I wanted a group of Christian fathers who want to get better every day and be in the Word every day. I couldn't find it, so I built it.
Baseball taught me that nobody gets better in a day. You get better every day. Early work, extra reps, showing up when you don't feel like it. I played in the SEC at Kentucky, and that lesson stuck with me long after the last game. Fatherhood just raised the stakes.
Streaks work in our house. My kids won't let a day go by without keeping our Bible app streak alive, and honestly, neither will I. Nobody wants to be the one who breaks it. So that's the heart of Hybrid Father: one daily streak for the three things that matter, and a brotherhood of men who notice when you show up.
My wife, Lauren, runs her own wellness and personal training business, Lauren Bernal Wellness. Watching her coach people every week reminds me that the plan you actually do beats the perfect plan you don't. That's why the workout is 20 minutes and the run can be a walk.
If you're a dad who wants to lead his family from the front, in faith and in health, I'd love to have you with us.

Before you start
When will I be charged?
Not today. When you reserve, Stripe saves your card and your first charge is on January 1, 2027, the day the brotherhood starts. You'll get a receipt by email. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
What happens between now and January 1?
Set up your profile, turn on your morning reminder and add the app to your home screen. On January 1 everyone opens to Day 1, Genesis 1–3, together. Daily check-ins and streaks start that morning.
Can I look around before I reserve?
Yes. Create a free account below. Your 7 free days start on January 1, so you won't lose any of them waiting. The founding $7 rate is only for the first 50 men, though.
I'm not a runner. Is this for me?
Yes. Walking counts. The plan gives you a distance or a time, and you can walk, jog or run it. The point is showing up every day, not your pace.
Do I run and work out on Sundays?
No. Sunday is a rest day. You still do the Bible reading, and that alone counts as a full day, so your streak keeps going.
What if I miss a day?
You get one grace day each month. Miss one day and your streak stays alive. Miss more than that and you start again, and the brotherhood will be there when you do.
What Bible reading plan do you use?
A through-the-Bible-in-a-year plan, starting in Genesis. Each day's passage shows on your Today screen.
How does the free trial work?
Sign in with your email and you get the full app for 7 days. No card needed. When the week ends, choose founding or standard to keep going.
How do streak rewards ship?
When you hit a milestone as a paying member, a Claim button appears in the app. Enter your size and address, and we mail it to you. Each reward can be claimed once.
Do I need to download anything?
No app store needed. Open the link on your phone and tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It works like an app from then on.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. Founding members who cancel lose the $7 rate, so it's worth staying.
